Nestled in the Flatiron District, Cote is the hot new restaurant for anyone who loves meat. This is definitely Korean barbeque at its best. Since my office is on 31st and 5th avenue (right next to Korea Town), I am not a newcomer to the cuisine.

Cote, however, is a Korean Steakhouse on 16 West 22nd and deliberately a bit removed from the Korea Town area. Owned by Simon Kim, of Michelin star Piora fame, Cote has minimal and sophisticated interior décor.

We are seated and order the Butchers Feast for two. The grill on the table is fired up and within 15 minutes we get a beautiful wooden board with different cuts of USDA Prime Beef.

There is a piece of fat that is used to grease the grill and we start to barbecue the meat. My personal favorite is the dry aged beef that I grill to a medium.  COTE: The Ultimate Korean Steakhouse
